Packaging Information
With us, sustainability is paramount – even when it comes to tea packaging. We consciously choose materials that have as little impact on the environment as possible. Therefore, we use natural, compostable or recyclable materials as much as possible. Below you can read what each part of the packaging is made of and where you can dispose of it. This is how we make a difference together!
- Tea bag: The pyramid-shaped bags are made of PLA, a plant-based material made from corn starch. They are compostable and biodegradable. The bag, including label and string, may be disposed of with the vegetable waste.
- Rope: Made of PLA – a naturally degradable material.
- Label (tag): Paper with a thin PLA coating.
- Pyramini box: The small cube-shaped box that holds the tea bag is made of cardboard. This may go in the waste paper.
- Box: Made of cardboard and printed with ink. This, too, may be thrown in the waste paper.
