Packaging Information
With us, sustainability is paramount – even when it comes to tea packaging. We consciously choose materials that have as little impact on the environment as possible. Therefore, we use natural, compostable or recyclable materials as much as possible. Below you can read what each part of the packaging is made of and where you can dispose of it. This is how we make a difference together!
- Tea bag: Made from natural plant fibers (abaca, a type of banana plant) and cellulose (a substance found in plants). The bag is biodegradable and may be disposed of with the label and string in the garbage.
- Rope: 100% cotton.
- Label (tag): Made of paper.
- Envelope: Paper with a thin protective layer to preserve the flavor of the tea. This may be put in the waste paper.
- Box: Made of cardboard from responsibly managed forests (FSC certified) and printed with ink. This may also go with the waste paper.
